# Introduction

Online gaming has become one of the largest digital entertainment industries in the world, with millions of users participating daily across casino gaming, sports betting, live entertainment, and competitive online experiences.

As the industry has grown, user expectations have evolved alongside it. Modern consumers increasingly seek platforms that are immersive, social, interactive, and continuously engaging rather than purely transactional.

At the same time, advancements in technology, digital payments, blockchain infrastructure, and online communities are reshaping how users interact with digital platforms and online economies.

Betski was created to build a new type of real-money gaming platform designed for this next generation of users.

Built entirely from the ground up with proprietary technology, Betski combines online casino gaming, sportsbook functionality, gamification systems, community engagement, and blockchain-powered infrastructure into a single integrated ecosystem.

The vision behind Betski is to create a platform where entertainment, progression, competition, and community become central parts of the user experience.

Rather than viewing online betting as a standalone activity, Betski approaches the industry as a long-term digital entertainment ecosystem capable of creating significantly deeper engagement between users and the platform.

Betski’s objective is to help shape the next evolution of real-money gaming by building a more engaging, scalable, and community-driven entertainment platform for the modern digital era.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://betski.gitbook.io/betski-whitepaper/overview/introduction.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
